So here we are with the January 2022 issue of the magazine.
In the airgun section, Mark Camoccio has done a detailed
write up on the extraordinarily advanced FX Maverick, which is
an impressive bullpup PCP. He then goes to the other end of the
spectrum and tests the Diana 34 EMS, which is a traditional,
spring-powered, break barrel airgun. Finally, he takes a look
at the KonusPro F-30 4-16X52 FFP scope. In addition to all
of this, Pete Wadeson has reviewed the excellent BSA
RTEN SE Black Edition. In the Shooting Sports
and firearms sections, I have included some interesting
tests. Pete Moore has written all about Benelli’s first boltaction
rifle; the Lupo, while Chris Parkin has done a write-up on
not only the Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark, but also the brand
new 600 series of centrefire rifles from CZ. All three articles
are well worth a read! Also included is a review of the Zeiss
Victory V8 2.8-20x56 riflescope and a piece on flash hole
deburring and primer pocket uniforming by Bruce Potts.
The shotgun section includes a test of the Franchi
Affinity 3 Max 5 shotgun and an article on Hull's Steel Game
Extra shotgun cartridges. In the militaria section, John
Norris explorers the appearances of legendary aeroplanes in
movies and the history of the incredibly versatile Bofors Gun.
