Bowing his head and appearing emotional as he laid a wreath at the Cenotaph, the King led the royal family in a moving Remembrance Sunday service in London.
His Majesty was joined at the annual event by the Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, as well as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, other senior politicians and faith leaders.
Crowds wearing poppy badges, scarves and bags lined Whitehall, clapping and cheering as veterans and military personnel took their places for the march, which included around 10,000 participants representing 341 different armed forces and civilian associations.
