Whenever Apple releases a new macOS or iOS update these updates tend to be rammed to the brim with new features and enhancements that fit into two unofficial categories. On the one hand there are the marquee, big, bold, in-yer-face enhancements that you can’t help but notice; and then there tend to be tens, possibly even hundreds of other, subtle new enhancements that perhaps fall under the radar for many. So how do we find out about these cool new features? Mainly by experimenting, word of mouth, Apple online documentation or, in the case of your Mac, the built-in ‘Help’ menu but seriously, who ever has time to plough through that? Even when we do discover something new and cool, we often forget about it, so we thought it was high time we staged a huge recap to expose interesting features that could enhance your productivity and make using your Mac or iOS device easier.
