Aosta is Italy’s smallest region, a valley nestled in the cradle of the Alps, bordering France and Switzerland to the north and Piedmont to the south. It’s a land of pine-covered mountains, stone-roofed wooden chalets, fairytale castles, welcoming taverns, warming restaurants and, of course, the snowcovered peak of Monte Bianco.
