LEADERS WEST HULL warmed up for the Championship play-offs, in which they will entertain Hunslet Club Parkside on Saturday week in the first qualifying semi-final, by ending LOCK LANE’S five-match winning sequence with a 34-14 victory at the Johnny Whiteley Arena.
The Green and Golds, who had prevailed 34-16 in Castleford, fell behind to an early Myles Tate try which Nathan Fozzard improved, but were 10-6 ahead as the interval approached, thanks to touchdowns by Jack Ridsdill and Ryan Wilson.
