An Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 for $100 less—that’s the easiest way to think of the new RTX 4070. It mostly matches its older, higher-positioned sibling, but comes in at $100 lower in terms of MSRP. Happily, the 4070 has gotten even cheaper since launch. We’ve seen one as low as $540 on Newegg. For that, you get all the usual RTX 40 goodies, including DLSS, Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction. The only slight worry is the 192-bit memory bus and 12GB of VRAM.
