Eighteen to 25-yearolds admit to scrimping on buying food in order to pay their monthly bills, according to research conducted by YouGov for home management site Hoppy. “Looking after our financial health through regular ‘checkups’ is as important as looking after our physical health,” says Alex Holder, author of Open Up, a book about why all of us need to talk more about money. “We should encourage conversation around financial wellbeing,” Holder continues, “in order to inspire lifestyle changes that promote ‘financial fitness’.”
