The luxury yacht Michaela Rose sailed out of Oban Bay heading for Mull and then on to Uist and Barra. She is owned by Texas-based developer Trammell Crow and has circumnavigated the world twice. She was once used by US first couple George and Barbara Bush during a Mediterranean vacation. The yacht was carrying a party of German businessmen who visited Oban Distillery and then took in a game of shinty at Mossfield, where they watched Oban Camanachd beat Camanachd Cup holders Lovat 2-1 in a premiership match.
