COMHAIRLE nan Eilean Siar has prepared a draft of its Gaelic language plan for 2018- 2022, in terms of Sections 3 and 7 of the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005.
This has now gone out to public consultation, which will finish at noon on Monday November 20.
The comhairle is seeking the views and comments of the communities of the Western Isles, of local and national Gaelic organisations, and of public authorities across Scotland, regarding the content of this draft plan.
