DOG OWNERS in Dunbeg are being asked to keep their pets out of the park as it is stopping a child with allergies from playing in the area.
The issue was highlighted at a recent Dunbeg Community Council meeting after after a member of the public complained about dogs being allowed to roam around the park and on to equipment.
This could potentially have dire consequences for at least one child, who suffers from allergies and uses an EpiPen. A spokesperson for Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) said: ‘A problem with dog fouling in Dunbeg playpark was raised by one of our tenants and by Dunbeg Community Council.
