A driver has been fined £350 for overtaking before a blind bend on the A85.
Charlotte Wright, 55, of the Lime Tree, Achintore Road, Fort William, pleaded guilty to careless driving near Achnacloich Bridge on September 12, 2017, when her car overtook approaching a blind right-hand bend, causing an oncoming vehicle to take evasive action.
‘It was a driver error’, solicitor advocate Shahid Latif told Oban Sheriff Court on Tuesday. ‘The court is dealing with someone with a clean licence. Her licence is essential for her employment.’
