THE KILLIN 10K race, sponsored by Portnellan, takes place on Saturday August 26.
The annual event, now in its seventh year, will see runners take on a slightly different route to accommodate its growing popularity.
The race will start and finish in Breadalbane Park, set against the backdrop of the impressive Tarmachan mountain range and a stone’s throw from Loch Tay. Runners will head through the village and across the spectacular Falls of Dochart before joining the old railway line, which runs parallel to the river. After crossing the river for a second time, participants will emerge back into the village and run an undulating loop of beautiful Glen Lochay, tracing the Lochay River, before finishing in Breadalbane Park.
