Sir,
I have been a bank customer for more than 60 years starting with the National Bank of Scotland, then the National Commercial Bank of Scotland and latterly with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
At present, I have my main accounts with the Royal Bank of Scotland at Pitlochry and have been told by letter that my accounts will be transferred to Blairgowrie as of May 31, 2018. I also have an account at Fort William and use the sub-office at Mallaig which is also closing on May 31, 2018. If I transfer all my accounts to Fort William, I will have a round trip of 70 miles to get my banking done instead of the 15 miles I have at present.
