Lyden Singleton with tourists enjoying the new al fresco seating that took months getting council approval.
Cafe culture has arrived in the popular conservation village of Ellenabeich.
After a six-month push to get an al fresco plan for outdoor tables and chairs passed by Argyll and Bute Council, customers at The Oyster can finally enjoy their drinks and food with a view outside the bar in the seaside square. There are now six tables with chairs in the village, and bar and restaurant boss Lyden Singleton with his wife Dawn have cause for a double celebration.
