It has become an accepted fact that at a high level, if the best possible photographic results are to be achieved, some degree of post-processing of images is required as standard. This doesn’t have to include extensive manipulation of the image content, but adjustments to exposure, colour balance and sharpness are now seen as fundamental steps.
