The conundrum
Are there two of you on tour? The couples’-caravan market is hotly contested, with a vast range of models offering complete luxury for a pair. Here, we round up 20 of our favourites for the 2021 season

This is indeed a four-berth, but the Isonzo features a layout that is ideal for couples who mainly tour on their own, often staying on a seasonal pitch. It has an end washroom, a spacious and airy central kitchen and a capacious front lounge. This year, as with all other Adoras, it has been given a facelift, with a sleek exterior and a more upmarket interior featuring cloth partitions, should you need to draw the one marking out the bedroom.
Adria has also adjusted the transverse island bed to make the gangway around it bigger.
Adria Altea Aire
Price £19,695
Berths 2
Shipping/body
length 6.96m/5.64m
Width 2.29m
MiRO 1254kg
Payload 166kg
MTPLM 1420kg
We had an Adria Aire as a long-term-loan test caravan for some time last year, and it is great as a two-berth.
Admittedly, some potential customers might hesitate a little about the fact that the Aire doesn’t include a fixed bed, but there is an upside to this. As a result, the space in this impressively modern interior is amazing – you could host a sizeable party in here, and there is a good-quality music system to boot!
You also get a luxurious end washroom, and the double bed is a cinch to put together.
Adria Alpina Colorado

As pleasant as it is to get away as a couple, sometimes you do want your own sleeping space – if nothing else, so you can get out of bed easily when you need the toilet!
