A lesser-known Australian dragon

Paul Donovan describes his experiences keeping a particularly distinctive and attractive lizard that hails from Australia but is far less wellknown that the bearded dragon.

The curator of the zoological collection where I began my career had a justified reputation for acquiring some pretty interesting reptiles. Indeed, at that time, we had the second largest collection of venomous snakes in the UK, including many species not seen in other collections.
