READERS may be aware there used to be a private railway centre that was set up on the closed Great Central Railway station site at Finmere, between Bicester and Buckingham, in 2008. The group behind this was the Coulsdon Old Vintage & Engineering Society (COVES), which had relocated there from its previous base in Surrey.
