COUNCILLORS in North Lanarkshire have rejected plans for a £200 million railhead logistics hub on part of the former site of Ravenscraig steelworks.
Logistics provider the Russell Group proposed the construction of a four-track, 800-metre long rail siding, two cranes and a 27,870 square metre distribution centre, along with offices, ancillary buildings and car and lorry parking.
