TO mark the 30th anniversary of the 2600 Class Railcars, the Irish Railway Record Society is due to operate the‘Time’s Arrow’ railtour on May 18/19.
The Tokyu Car Corporation units entered service on May 16, 1994 and launched the Arrow suburban service between Dublin Heuston &Kildare.
The tour starts in Cork and on arrival in Dublin will explore the suburban system, visiting old haunts and new locations, including Dublin Heuston, Adamstown Bay Platform, Grand Canal Dock Bay Platform, Dundalk, Howth, Dublin Connolly, Maynooth and M3 Parkway.
