Reclaim Magazine Issue 94 Zurück Ausgabe

We love getting feedback from readers, so we were delighted to receive a handwritten letter from a reader who contacted us having seen one of our features on flower pressing, as this is something she used to practice. This reader has sent us some of her beautiful handmade cards too, and we’re so touched to receive them.
It’s a simple thing, but someone taking the time to choose words, buy a stamp and go to the postbox, is really touching. We’re reminded that proper communication takes thought and care.

And on careful communication, we are led to this month’s cover feature home belonging to Africa Daley-Clarke. It speaks beautifully about her love of family and heritage, which alongside her words and activism against social injustice is very inspiring.

Roisin Quinn also unapologetically expresses herself, choosing bold, bright tones and pattern. It's her signature style and we love that she revels in it so freely.
Creative freedom is indeed something to be celebrated: this issue’s spotlight artist Wild Wood Maker is a case in point. But freedom of expression, to be safe wherever we call home, to live according to our values without hurting others – this is the greatest freedom of all. And words are a big part of that.
