There are many ways to “see” underground to explore otherwise hidden earth structures such as volcanic magma, groundwater or even archeological remains.
For instance, earth scientists have used drilling for core samples, ground-penetrating radar, lasers and imaging from space. Now, a new way has been developed, namely, a quantum gravity sensor.
