Last time we checked – but this isn’t just a normal pair of earrings. Not that you’d know that from looking at them, which you’ve just handily proved. The H1s come in either silver (£510) or gold (£599) and are made using freshwater pearls. So far, so jewellery. But Nova has squeezed a tiny speaker in each one, with Bluetooth 5.2 to connect them to your phone, so they’ll hang on your lobes and fire the audio directly into your brain. Nova calls it Directional Sound and compares it to augmented reality: a layer of sound added to the ones that surround you.
