GARMIN EDGE EXPLORE 2
Not every bike owner wants a cycling computer that spits out enough stats and data to run a Tour de France team. Some people are just after something that’ll guide them on their weekend trundles, with turn-by-turn directions and detailed maps that show you both pre-planned and popular routes, as well as helping you to avoid traffic jams. Garmin’s latest does that – along with a GroupTrack feature that lets you keep an eye on other riders in your peloton, while the 24hr battery means it’ll keep going even if you get really, really lost. If you’ve got an e-bike you can even hook the Explore 2 up to that and it’ll find a shorter route if your battery’s due to die before you get home. £250 / garmin.com
