GIVEN a choice between attending the Calcutta Cup and overseeing his 400th game in charge of London Cornish, for Dickon Moon there was only ever going to be one winner. This coming Saturday, Moon will be on the touchlines, as he has been for the last 20 years, overseeing London Cornish’s Regional 2 Thames clash with relegation-threatened Beaconsfield.
Reckoned to be the longest-serving DoR in English club rugby, Redruth-born Moon is Cornish to the core and has given up his Twickenham tickets to celebrate his milestone match in person.
