What to keep in mind when promoting your vegan and gluten-free bakes
If you’re thinking of starting a vegan baking business, there are a few things to keep in mind regarding ingredients. When promoting your vegan bakes always use very clear labelling, as many people will opt for a vegan or gluten-free version due to allergy restrictions. Make sure to check your cake decorations and all your ingredient e-numbers. Some ingredients that aren’t always vegan are glycerine, glycerol, keratin and shellac. Also honey and bee related products aren’t considered vegan. Anything labelled ‘vegetarian friendly’ isn’t the same as ‘vegan friendly’.
