It’s no secret that Fairfield Books, run by the ineffable Matt Thacker, is sort of aligned to Wisden, and you’ll see a couple of articles in this magazine which have been partially inspired by the fact that two books are out this month on the Fairfield ticket, Being Geoffrey Boycott and The Legend of Sparkhill.
