Death is not an ending, but a sacred turning of the wheel. As we release our 20th issue into the world and enter into a period of rest, we call in the spirit of death to usher in the next phase.

Across these pages you’ll find stories of grief tending, necromantic transmutation, and wisdom from witches who walk with the dead, tend the ancestors, and know that the underworld is not a place of fear but of power.

This magazine has always been a living spell, conjured by community, shaped by many pens, hearts, and voices. Christie and I, Louisa, have been its caretakers for the past five years and now we lay it gently down, trusting that it will rise again. Maybe in a different form, maybe under different guidance, but always in the spirit of sharing credible knowledge and uplifting the most marginalised amongst us.
