The Observer/Anthony Burgess Prize for Arts Journalism is inviting entries from budding arts critics for the 2017 competition.
The prize, which is run by the Observer and the Anthony Burgess Foundation in partnership with Free Word, is given for a 1,000 review of a new work in the arts. To reflect Anthony Burgess’s wide-ranging journalistic interests, there are no restrictions on the art-form; entries might be on a new book, film theatre show, album, concert, art exhibition or TV show.
