Currently up to its sixth issue, Channel is an Irish literary print magazine born out of the climate crisis, publishing poetry and prose with an environmentalist perspective. It is edited by Cassia Gaden Gilmartin and Elizabeth Murtough and supported by the Arts Council. The editors say, ‘Our goal at Channel is to provide a space for literary work that fosters re-connection with the natural world.’ As such they publish work from Ireland and around the world that displays and celebrates the relationships between plant and animal life, landscape and humanity.
