The annual Magma Poetry Competition is open for entries. There are two contests. The Judge’s Prize, this year adjudicated by Daljit Nagra, is for poems between 11 and 50 lines. The Editors’ Prize, chosen by a panel of Magma editors, is for poems of up to ten lines. In each category, prizes will be awarded of £1,000, £300, £150, and five special mentions.
Entries for both contests may be in any style and on any subject. All entries must be original and unpublished in print or online and unbroadcast in any format. Each poem should be on a separate sheet, typed in single spacing.
The poet’s name must not appear on the manuscript.
