The David Burland Poetry Prize 2017 is open for entries. It is the tenth year that the competition has run.
The competition is for original, unpublished poems in any style and on any subject. There is a first prize of £200, a second prize of £100 and a third prize of £50. Two special mentions will each receive a copy of Michel Francois and Friends by French/English poet Michel Francois. Winners and special mentions will be included in the 2nd Volume of Poetic Art/L’Art Poetique.
All entries must be original, unpublished, English-language poems. The poet’s name must not appear on the manuscript. Type each poem on a separate sheet. Include a completed entry form, which can be downloaded from the website. Only postal entries are accepted.
