The best photo cards are a fantastic way to show a loved one that you’re thinking of them while adding the perfect personal touch.Whether you’re looking to send some festive greetings, want to post out the invites to your wedding, or simply would like to wish a friend a happy birthday, creating your own bespoke photo cards is an amazing way to show someone that you care.

But rather than purchasing a generic cookie-cutter greetings card, a unique and heartfelt bespoke photo card featuring one of your own photographs will be much more personal.

Play your cards right

We tested five different photo card suppliers to see which offers the best service and end result. To ensure that the test was as fair as possible, we used the same image on each website – and also tried to create a similar design as well. Each supplier was tested on how well their creator tool worked, and whether there were any glitches or difficulties when we created our photo card using their service.

We also rated suppliers on how fast the photo cards shipped and how well they were packaged, to ensure that there was minimal damage to the product by the time it arrived in our postbox.

On receipt of the cards, we examined their colour reproduction accuracy compared with our original; the finish of the printing; whether there were any marks or defects on the photo cards; and the general quality of the product.
