Camera know-how Using focus bracketing

Hot to control depth of field

For a successful focus bracketed sequence, fix the camera on a tripod and use a single AF point. Brackets start from nearest the lens, so place the AF point on the closest part of the scene. Next, decide on the number of frames, the distance increments and the f/stop. For close-ups, you need lots of shots at smaller increments while for a wide-angle scenic, a few at wider increments will suffice with the aperture set between f/5.6-11.
