Focus stacking is a technique that allows you to take advantage of the sweet spot of the lens while capturing a greater depth of field in landscape shots than the narrowest aperture. Focus on three or four points in the scene, ensuring there’s some depth-of-field overlap between each subsequent shot, then merge them quickly and easily in Photoshop for ultimate sharpness.
