first drew you to photographing volcanoes?
I’ve always had a great fascination with nature and all the various ways it plays a role in the world. With volcanoes, I think what first drew me to photographing them is how I was able to literally document the newest land in the world being created right in front of my eyes. I love everything about documenting them. From the peaceful moments of silky lava flows snaking down a valley, to the chaotic ones with thunderous explosions that literally blow your tent doors open, it’s all absolutely incredible.
