To stack or not to stack
Should you use multiple filters or a single strong filter?
In the field, you have the choice of using a strong filter, such as 1.2ND or grad, or stacking multiple weaker models. Reducing stacking will improve the image quality but strong filters can introduce complex colour contamination. The choice should be influenced by light predictability. If the light is consistent, a strong filter is better to improve resolution. But if the light is changeable, multiple filters provide greater versatility and allow rapid adjustments to overall filtration density.
