It’s full-on holiday season in the office. You realise no one’s even pretending to care about working when the last item on a meeting agenda is “Triangle top or halter?”
Some people have chosen a location because there are wonderful beaches, amazing food and cool nightlife. Then there’s us lot. We have to factor in the chance of being arrested and consider whether our very existence in a country is illegal, dangerous or just unwelcome. Did you know that 72 countries criminalise homosexuality? Granted, a mini break to some of the more repressive regimes in Afghanistan, Syria or Saudi Arabia might not be at the top of your vacation wish list, but that’s not really the point.
