Make an old-fashioned bread bin for a kitchen
Kris takes you step-by-step through the process of making a bread bin out of card that will look wonderful on the side of your kitchen

Let’s make a vintage style bread bin for your twelfth scale doll’s house kitchen or room box.
Step 1. Trace the patterns onto card stock. Trace two of A and two of B onto a scrap piece of mount board.
Step 2. Cut out the parts with your craft knife.
You will need
■ Card stock
■ Pencil
■ Cutting knife n Yellow carpenter’s glue n Ruler
■ Mount/mat board
■ Wooden knob
■ Acrylic paint
■ Paint brush
■ Varnish
Step 3. Use yellow carpenter’s glue and glue part B onto part A. Notice that the lower right corners are even. Glue the other pieces together making sure it is the opposite of the first one. These are the sides to the bread bin.
