Create a stir with this rustic shelf
Following on from the herb garden she made in Issue 351 Elize shows us how to create a simple wall shelf made from coffee stirrers and cocktail forks

t his charming little shelf can go in the shed or even in a rustic style doll’s house.
Step 1. Use a ruler and box cutter to cut the 4 wooden cocktail forks in half. You want to end up with a length of 7cm.
Step 2. Cut the 2 regular sized coffee stir sticks on both ends to a length of 7cm. You want a straight top and bottom.
Step 3. Use scissors to easily cut the 8 thin coffee stir sticks. Measure 7cm from the bottom. You want to keep the round edges at the bottom. Save the rest of the sticks to make the shelves.
