What We Carry With Us
A GUCCI HANDBAG IS MORE THAN JUST A CARRYALL — IT’S A QUIET COMPANION THROUGH LIFE, THERE FOR ALL YOUR MOMENTS, BIG AND SMALL
WORDS BY SARAH NOONAN
There are certain things in life we hold onto without thinking: a book we can’t finish, a photograph tucked into a wallet pocket, the worn handle of that one bag, so familiar in the palm it feels like home with every hold. We carry them first for function, or simply by reflex. But over time, they gather the grain of memory, telling stories along the way — of long walks through unfamiliar cities, afternoons spent waiting for a train or late nights ducking into doorways to escape the rain.
