Dave Grohl finds himself in quite the mosh pit in Studio 666.
“DUDE, LOOK, I have never, ever, ever wanted to be a movie star.” Not our words, but the words of one Dave Grohl, speaking to this very magazine back in 2011. Back then, he was promoting his cameo in The Muppets, which, along with his tongue-flicking, fret-frazzling turn as Satan in Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny, showed Grohl’s natural on-screen charisma in even the most fleeting of appearances. Yet the Foo Fighters frontman still had a mind only for music. “I don’t want to be a musician who’s in movies,” he said. “I want to be a musician. I’ve got the greatest fucking job in the world.”
