In the March issue of delicious., Brockmans Gin asked readers to come up with a recipe for a sweet or savoury dish to complement one of its three divine gin cocktails. Brockmans Gin is truly a gin like no other, brimming with blueberry and blackberry notes and featuring a hint of bittersweet Valencian orange peel and coriander. Other exquisite botanicals in the gin include angelica, almond, liquorice, orris, lemon peel and juniper berries.
Competition entries were judged by Brockmans co-founder Bob Fowkes, delicious.drinks editor Susy Atkins and James Ford, head chef at catering company Bovingdons. Three finalists were selected – and the winner has been awarded a year’s supply of Brockmans Gin. James developed the winning recipe idea fully at the prestigious Fulham Palace in London, one of Bovingdons’ kitchens, and now you can enjoy it for yourself alongside a Brockmans Gin tipple.
