A team of healthcare professionals from Oban are finalists in the Scottish Health Awards 2018.
The Oban Living Well Initiative has been shortlisted for the Integrated Care for Older People Award – one of 17 categories recognising hard work and dedication of healthcare professionals across the country and tonight, November 1, they will find out if they have won. the Oban initiative is competing against three other finalists, the Care Home Continence Improvement Project in South Lanarkshire, the Edinburgh Behaviour Support Service and West Lothian Psychological Approach Team for Dementia from Edinburgh and the Otago and More Falls Prevention Team from the Shetland Islands.
Front-line health and social care staff Pauline Jesperson, Erik Jesperson, Derek Laidler, Katy Docherty, Hugh McLean and Roy Clunie make up the team.
