Fraser Cooper of Glencoe, second right, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious event.
Glencoe chef Fraser Cooper is through to the final for Young Chef of the Year 2018. the British Culinary Federationfi competition will take place on Monday, November 5 at University College, Birmingham. there will be two heats followed by a dinner and awards evening.
Fraser, who now works at the Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel in North Yorkshire, and the other 17 competitors will have two hours to produce their three-course meal highlighting British produce, with the starter being suitable for a vegetarian.
