Staff members in conversation celebrated the brilliant people who are creating artificial intelligence in such things as self-driving cars. Despite the intelligence, there is news about fatalities associated with such vehicles.
One asked, “Can you create with a moment-to-moment alignment that leads to lasting value for the users of your creations?” The question is similar to: “Will children who are raised with love, compassion, and respect for their essential nature and shown that of others ever start a war, military or economic, directly or indirectly?”
You see your aligned creative acts have effects that are beneficial. You know when in alignment it’s challenging to stay there, and when not it’s important to get back. We have a policy that if during work hours anyone feels a lack of clarity, they take time to meditate or go outside and be in nature. You then find you can be more in tune with the kind of guidance from within necessary to live a happy, healthy life.
You find alignment is as simple as the choice you make to think a thought that feels good rather than not. It feels good to appreciate. You realize you choose alignment each moment by your focus. You find it is, in a way, feeling separate that seems so disparate. You want to know the underlying basis of peace in relationship. You see that appreciation of life, people and things in life, is akin to alignment, or coherence of your heart and head.
You find there is enormous well being at the core of the world when you appreciate or feel gratitude. You sometimes get caught up with the problems of the world, perhaps carrying them on your shoulders, yet the earth rotates and orbits the sun, tilts, and bathes itself in light and darkness, even as the sun that provides the light goes on its course around the galaxy amidst other galaxies of trillions of stars. You notice that alignment.
