Relay gold: Seren Bundy-Davies, Eilidh Doyle, Anyika Onuora, Emily Diamond
WITH a world-leading 3:25.05, Great Britain won their second relay gold of the night. It represented the first time Great Britain had won this event since the first running in 1969 when the late Lillian Board brought them home in the last stride. This was far less dramatic.
Emily Diamond got the British team off to a good start with a 51.8 split and Anyika Onuora went further clear with a 50.7.
The 50.99 of Eilidh Doyle, who missed her speciality hurdles, stretched the lead to more than two seconds and Seren Bundy-Davies held on with a solid 51.42.
