“We had our ups and downs but we never gave up,” sings Farrah West on I Still Remember, a kind of synth-pop tribute to Coldplay choruses. Rightly so: though their third album isn’t always memorably original, its synthheavy pop is packed with potent hooks. Modern Living’s pretty piano line ornaments its determined thrust, and Twenty Twenty One offers sparse verses and a chorus beefed up by rock proclivities. The Collector and Ghosts will also endear them to fans of Europop.
