This is robot ‘artist’ Ai-Da standing in front of its portraits of computer pioneer Alan Turing. Auction house Sotheby’s has just sold the painting on the right, called A.I. God, for £836,000. Sotheby’s said it “reflects the growing intersection” between AI and the global art market. It also reflects the fact that some people simply have too much money.
