Curtains will be twitching on Ramsay Street when fans spot someone familiar in the area after Australian soap Neighbours signed Cameron Robbie, younger brother of Hollywood star Margot (both above) to play lifeguard Jesse Porter. Sharing his news on Instagram (above right), the 26-year-old actor told followers he was “following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan’s mullet!”. Cameron makes his debut on the soap in March, no doubt hoping to replicate the success of his big sister, who spent three years on the show before going on to star in films such as I, Tonya and Suicide Squad. Not that Cameron is intimidated by comparisons. “I don’t place pressure on myself,” he said, adding that his ambition was to “work hard, pursue what I love and make it meaningful”.
